Coonamar Ski Club has 25 members and runs a friendly older style lodge
on Mt Buller.
When members and their families are not using the lodge fully, they make
it available for guests.
A manager is on site throughout the ski season
Coonamar has a capacity of 37 beds.
Bunkroom style accommodation is provided
All linen is provided comprising pillow, pillow case, sheets and duvet.
Please bring your own towel.
There are ample washing, shower and toilet facilities.
The lodge is centrally heated.
An efficient drying room is in operation.
There is a rumpus room downstairs with plenty of space to play table tennis,
read or just relax.
There is a ski room which is kept locked overnight for security
Most of the work of operating the lodge is done on a roster system, both
members and guests are given a duty under the direction of the lodge manager.
A full country style hot breakfast and a two course evening meal are provided and are prepared by
people rostered for these duties under the supervision of the lodge manager.
A light lunch is also provided but you need to prepare it for yourself
and clean up afterwards.
Tea, coffee, milk, sugar etc. are available for use as required.
No smoking is permitted inside the lodge.
There is a free intra-village bus which stops outside the lodge
